From data centre to modern student complex
In Utrecht-East, new construction project The Nursery has been in full swing for several years. A total of 1,150 starter and student houses are rising here.
The Baobab building - formerly KPN's data centre, now a modern student complex - is equipped with a Helvar light management system.
Our routers were delivered in an assembled cabinet, which allowed them to be quickly installed on site.
Each floor is equipped with our 320 sensors that control lighting based on movement. In the stairwells, our 321 sensors ensure that the light automatically dims when there is sufficient daylight.
Outdoor lighting is also integrated via a relay and controlled by an astronomical timer.
In addition, a service gateway has been installed, allowing us to remotely diagnose the DALI system. In the event of any malfunctions, this allows us to intervene quickly and ensure continuity.
