Following on from the ARTIS-Groote Museum and the ARTIS restaurant, we have now also had the pleasure of fitting the refurbished ARTIS Aquarium Building with a Helvar lighting management system!

Together with SDR Techniek, we have fitted this remarkable listed building, dating from 1881, with a modern and future-proof lighting solution. The system is linked to the building management system, enabling the lighting to be controlled automatically via timetables. Facility managers can also easily control the lighting themselves via a touchscreen displaying clear floor plans of the building.

The lighting in the aquarium tanks is particularly special. The settings have been carefully tailored to the needs of the underwater life.

The result is a flexible, user-friendly and future-proof system that is perfectly suited to the building’s unique function.
