We welcome students from a range of degree programmes and at various levels. As every degree programme and every student is different, we do not have a standard work placement package. Together, we’ll look at what you need to do as part of your course, where your interests lie and what you can learn with us.
At Helvar, you’ll have the opportunity to gain practical experience and develop your skills further.
You will be carrying out tasks that are in line with your course and internship assignment. This could mean, for example, that you:
Work with smart and modern Helvar lighting control systems, software and building integrations
Work with colleagues on projects at the office or at various locations
Our colleagues are always on hand to help and will provide the necessary support
We believe it is important that, during your work placement, you not only complete your studies but also gain a good insight into what it is like to work in a technical company.

We’ll get to know each other and discuss your course, work placement and interests.

You’ll get to meet various colleagues and gain a glimpse behind the scenes at a technical company.
You’ll be given increasing responsibility and will start working independently on your placement assignment and tasks.
During your work placement, you can always turn to your colleagues for questions, feedback and guidance.
