Account manager West Netherlands

Job description

At Lighting Controls Netherlands & Belgium, we work with a team of 45 enthusiastic colleagues on sales and commissioning of lighting management systems. To further strengthen our growth, we are looking for a driven Account Manager who wants to actively represent our Helvar products in the West Netherlands region.

You know how to convince people of the added value of our products. A combination of technical insight and commercial feeling is indispensable. Your discussion partners are electrical installers and consultants in the Netherlands.

Your work will include visiting new and existing clients, advising clients on our solutions, preparing quotations and supervising assignments from request to delivery.

Who are you?

You are communicatively strong and have excellent organisational skills. You are enthusiastic, sociable and can work well together in a team.

• A commercial attitude and an eye for detail
• Technical knowledge in the field of electrical engineering (MTS/MBO4 level)
• A few years of relevant experience in a technical commercial role is nice, but fitting into our team and being able to quickly master our field of work is equally important
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
• Excellent knowledge of the Dutch language, good command of English is an advantage
• Stress resistance and ability to keep an overview of many different tasks
• Flexibility: you can quickly switch between different tasks
• A customer-oriented and collegial attitude
• Living in South Holland

Your tasks

• Actively maintain and build relationships with existing and new customers
• Providing technical and commercial advice on Helvar lighting controls and systems
• Preparation and follow-up of offers and project proposals
• Supervising the entire sales process from first contact to completion
• Working closely with colleagues in sales, engineering and project management to best support customers
• Identifying new market opportunities and contributing to the further growth of Helvar in the Netherlands
